About Us

Shana is the owner of Sincerely Succulents & Designs. She loves all things succulents, houseplants, pots, and cats! Her love for plants began a few years ago when her mother in law Jill, introduced her to succulents. She was so interested in the way the leaves could propagate and grow to give you an entire new plant. Jill taught Shana how to make her own succulent arrangements and after that, her patio quickly filled up with succulents and houseplants on new plant stands. She didn't have a green thumb at first but after lots of research and learning she now has hundreds of plants between her shade house, patio and at the farm.

Shana graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2017 with her Bachelors Degree in Resort & Hospitality Management. Focusing within the spa industry, aesthetics, and events she managed multiple up-scale spas in the SWFL area. After being in the spa industry for 10 years, Shana decided that she wanted to venture off and start her own business where she can be creative and on her own. So she took a leap of faith and launched Sincerely Succulents at the end of 2020.

Shana's Mother & Father in Law (Jill & Billy) also started to build their own plant nursery in 2020, Maree Farms. They planned to be open to the public where people can visit to purchase plants for their collection while relaxing on a beautiful property.

Once the farm was open for business, this is where Shana and sister in law, Heather started to host monthly plant sales. Shana would create her succulent arrangements and Heather would hand-paint beautiful pots for our well known 'DIY Potting Bar' and from there, the rest is history. Shana has hosted several DIY workshops, pop up events around SWFL and her business is growing at the farm!
